Tekhelet Hats is a provider of Wheel Hats, Wheel Caps, Mechanic's Hats, Mechanic's Caps and other re-enactor headgear. We do not purport to be historical wizards on wheel hats or other historical hatwear. We do believe our Wheel Hat to be representative of similar civilian, militia and military headgear worn generally throughout the 19th century; in particular, between the 1820's and the 1870's. This segment of History included the Fur Trade, the Texas Revolution, the Mexican War, the Civil War and the Indian Wars.

Located in West Texas, Tekhelet Hats has grown steadily since 2001, by balancing a practical element of fun and service in all of its activities. We hope that your experience here is rewarding and that you'll return often!
