General Wheel Hat & Options Ordering Information:

• No COD or purchase orders are accepted.
• There will be a $30 charge for any returned checks.
• Wheel hat orders are processed, "First in, First Out" and are shipped upon payment clearance. Delivery times may vary. Please check on current schedules prior to ordering. Sometimes circumstances out of our control might delay an order. We apologize for these delays. We will try our best to keep you informed when they occur.
• All Cotton and Wool wheel hats have a heavy cotton sweatband, for wearing comfort.
• Lining materials are picked according to availability, and include cotton calico or flax/linen. For really cold weather, we also offer a calico print cotton flannel. If you need the warmer flannel lining, please let us know at the time of your order.
• Heavy cotton Wheel Hats are not lined.

Our Standard Wheel Hat includes dark navy blue wool fabric; a leather visor of your color choice, and no chin strap.

Options for wool wheel hats include:
Visor color: natural, brown or black
Visor frontal tooled trim line - yes or no
Wool fabric color: Dark Navy, Olive (blanket weight). Other colors upon fabric availability.
Chin Straps: We normally use 2-3oz. leather chin straps, which include square, light wt. brass buckles, and plain brass buttons.
We offer custom made, heavy brass buckles in a square or scalloped style for an additional fee of $10.00 each. Custom made Sterling buckles are also available for $20.00 each. See pic below.
Chin Strap Buttons: We offer Dragoon Eagle "D" shield buttons and generic Eagle brass buttons for an additional fee of $8.00 per set of two buttons. All buttons are subject to availability. See pics below.

How to Measure your Head:
If at all possible, we feel it is best to let someone else measure your head with a soft sewing tape measure. We need the actual measurement in inches, straight around your head from about 1 inch above the eyebrow. The tape should be Comfortably Snug; NOT TOO tight, nor TOO loose. We also need your modern hat size as well. Having both the measurement and hat size allows us to achieve a more accurate, custom fit.

Payments:
At this time, the following payment methods are accepted:
1.) Payment can be made by credit card through the Paypal "buy-it-now" button, associated with standard items, without options, ONLY. You do not need to be a member of PayPal to use this payment method.
2.) For credit card payments of special order items with optional features: Please fill out the Special Order form, or e-mail the item number and description of the wheel hat you want and all options desired. We will calculate your order, and send you a PayPal invoice for the correct amount of your order by email.
3.) For check or money order payments, Please fill out the Special Order form, or e-mail the item number and description of the wheel hat you want and all options desired. We will calculate your order, and send you an invoice for the correct amount of your order by email. Once you have received the invoice, please send your check or money order and include a copy of your invoice to:

Sales Tax in Texas:
Texas residents pay 8.25% Sales Tax calculated in Texas on the total of product price + shipping. If purchasing for re-sale, we will need for you to mail to us a valid Sales Tax Exemption Form (available at office supply stores or Comptroller Office), properly completed with a current Texas Sales Tax Number, prior to shipment.
No exceptions.

Standard Shipping Within the United States:
USPS Parcel Shipping charges including insurance are as follows:
Cotton hats - $7.00 each
Wool hats - $10.00 each

Custom Shipping Within the United States:
Priority (3-4 day) delivery - add an additional $4.00 to above rates.
Second day delivery* - add an additional $8.00 to above rates
Overnight delivery* - add an additional $25.00 to above rates.
*this option may not be available in all areas. Please check before selecting this option.

International Terms & Shipping:
Please email with your shipping address for shipping & handling cost calculation.
We ship to Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Western Europe (with the exception of Italy). No International Returns, all sales are final. Customs declaration at product price only. Payment in US dollars, net 10 days. Please email for payment options before ordering.

Exchanges and Returns:
Over time, we have found that measuring correctly and also including your normal hat size with your wheel hat order, eliminates the need for exchanges and refunds. However, both are still options.

To exchange a wheel hat for another size, color or other options, please return it insured, in NEW condition. There is a 25% re-stocking fee. We will send you an invoice for the exchange. In the box, please send a note to let us know the details of what you would like in exchange. Also include a check or money order for the invoiced amount to cover re-stocking, shipping & handling.

If you would like a refund for a hat, please return it, insured and in NEW condition, with a brief description of why it is being returned. We will refund the price of the hat only, less all fees for shipping & handling charges.

All Exchanges and Returns must be made within 30 days of the receipt of your purchase. Product must be in unworn, NEW condition and accompanied by our invoice. All returns must be insured for original purchase total. We can't accept used items for refund or exchange. Returns without an invoice will be for "in-house" credit only and calculated as above.
